I know its stressful out there. I get it. The kids are home and so is your significant other. Or maybe you live alone and you really need to do something about how you feel. Well I may have a solution for you. I write and record meditations. I also am a healer so I know a lot about relieving anxiety and stress. I’m going to help you by giving you a 3 step plan to help yourself and your family feel better. Let’s get started.
No. 1. Breathe. Yes breathe. It’s not hard. Get all of your family together, and breath. Nice deep breaths. You can count like this: Inhale 2, 3, 4 – Exhale 2, 3, 4. Say these words to yourself and have your family do the same thing. If they are having trouble with this, find a leader in your household and they can say the words and count for breathing. Do this for at least 2 minutes. If you want, you can also inhale love and exhale peace. Even your little ones can do this. It really does help. And you can do it anytime of day. Especially when you feel that the stress is getting to everyone in the house.
No. 2. Go outside. Find a place where you can go outside and just walk around. Go to your backyard, a park, or even take a walk in your neighborhood. Remember to use social distancing when you do this. Take your dogs, they would love this. If you are in your backyard, jump rope or play tag. You can even garden. Have the kids pull weeds, or play hide and go seek. If the sun is out, lay in the sun for awhile. The sun is very healing and can definitely help with your stress and anxiety.
No. 3. Make your house feel good. Now that you have used your breath to help calm you and went outside and maybe even laid in the sun for a bit, it’s time to work on the energy in your house. Do this. Its going to sound kind of out of the box, but try it anyway. Imagine a gold rose in the middle of the room you are in. Now imagine the energy from the gold rose filling that room. Use the breathing technique you learned in step 1 during this. Take a couple of minutes to imagine the energy from the gold rose to fill the room. Then do the next room. Same routine. And the next until your house is full of golden energy. How does it feel? Better? Great.
